The 27-year-old aspiring chef blasted his father Sir David Beckham and his mother Victoria Beckham in a shock Instagram post earlier this year accusing his parents of ruining his wedding to Nicola Peltz and declaring he has no intention of ever reconciling with them.
Fat Tony – who was behind the decks on Brooklyn’s big day – has now waded into the debate over the feud again and insisted no one should be judging such a painful situation, telling The Times newspaper: “Before judging, people should remember that two parents have lost their first-born son and a son has lost his parents.
“All families have dramas, but they just happen to be the Beckhams.”
One of Brooklyn’s claims in his Instagram statement was that his mother, former Spice Girls star Victoria, of dancing “inappropriately” during his big day and Tony later spoke out to explain what he saw on the dance floor.
During an appearance on UK TV show This Morning, Fat Tony explained: “There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girls actions. The word inappropriate – why I said it was inappropriate as well because it was the timing.”
He then revealed singer Marc Anthony started the drama by calling Brooklyn onto the stage during his performance and asked to Victoria to join him – referring to her as “the most beautiful woman in the room” – leaving Nicola in floods of tears.
Fat Tony explained: “What happened was – basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto the stage.
“Everyone is expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance and then Marc asks the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage, then he said: ‘Victoria come to the stage’.
“At that point, Brooklyn is devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife. Nicola leaves the room crying her eyes out.
“Marc says: ‘Put your hands on your mother’s hips!’ It was a Latin thing and that whole situation was awkward for everyone in the room.”
Fat Tony went on to reveal the dance became the most talked about moment of the entire wedding as he heard guests discussing it over brunch the following day.
He said: “I DJed the brunch, which was the most awkward part of it all because that’s when everything was discussed from the night before.”
In his Instagram statement, Brooklyn wrote: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.
“We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
