Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz officially tied the knot in April 2022, but then renewed their vows in August 2025 – and are now using the latter as their anniversary following controversy surrounding their original nuptials.
Brooklyn Beckham has marked his wedding anniversary with wife Nicola with a gushing post amid his feud with his family.
The pair officially tied the knot in April 2022, but then renewed their vows in August 2025 – and are now using the latter as their anniversary following controversy surrounding their original nuptials.
Sharing a picture of himself and Nicole on Instagram, Brooklyn wrote: “Happy anniversary Nicola, I can’t tell you how much I love you. You are my best friend and I love you more than life itself. I am so lucky to be able to call you my wife.”
In what may have been a reference to his fall out with parents Victoria and David, Brooklyn added: “You are my absolute princess and I promise to always protect you.”
People were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: “This is what a beautiful, healthy marriage looks like. Always putting your wife first.”
Another added: “What lovely words, Brooklyn… your parents did a wonderful job raising you.”
While a third said: “A perfect and strong couple. It’s so important in life to choose yourself – and the one you truly love.”
However, someone else said: “Brooklyn we love you very much and respect your feelings but please find it in your heart to forgive your dear parents…life is too short and tomorrow is not promised…talk to your parents and don’t leave it too late.”
Brooklyn shocked the world when he released a public statement slamming his parents, including allegations such as Victoria calling him “evil” when he didn’t sit her on the same table as him, and “hijacking” their first dance.
He said in his statement: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where the scheduled was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
He added of his and Nicola’s decision to renew their vows: “We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
Nicola also took to Instagram to mark their rearranged anniversary, writing: “Happy anniversary my love – you make life so beautiful. thank you for being the most amazing husband i could ever dream of.”
