Jason Sudeikis invites woman who received his old mail to Ted Lasso season four premiere

Jason Sudeikis invited Taylor Palmby to the season four premiere of Ted Lasso in New York on Tuesday (04.08.26) after she spent a year receiving his mail and trying to contact him about it.

Jason Sudeikis invited a woman who has been receiving his old mail to the season four premiere of Ted Lasso.

Taylor Palmby moved into her New York home in May 2025, but began getting the 50-year-old actor’s deliveries a month later, including letters from the Writers Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, and “For Your Consideration” TV and film screeners.

The content creator told People: “I was like, ‘No way. There’s no way this is the same Jason Sudeikis. There’s no way.’

“Then I looked it up on the internet, and I found some website with him on it had this as his address. I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I think that I’m living in Jason Sudeikis’ old apartment.'”

More mail followed, leaving Taylor with around five deliveries over the course of a year.

She said: “I don’t know why, but I was like, ‘It has become my job now to get this mail to Jason Sudeikis.'”

The mental health counsellor took to social media in the hopes of reaching the Saturday Night Live alum after seeing another content creator connect with 39-year-old Michael B. Jordan after they shared their grandmother’s framed photo of the Sinners star.

She said: “The amount of people that know Jason Sudeikis is amazing. I have so many DMs, ‘I’m his cousin. I know his sister. You can connect to this management company. My boyfriend is best friends with him or my ex knows him.’

“It was like six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but one degree of Jason Sudeikis.”

A member of Jason’s team at The Agency Group PR came across the video and invited Taylor to the season four premiere of Ted Lasso and its after-party in New York City on Tuesday (04.08.26), where she handed the comedian his old mail.

Taylor said Jason was “really sweet”, and recognised her after being sent the video multiple times.

However, he “didn’t even recognise the apartment”.

Reflecting on the unique experience, Taylor said: “As Ted Lasso would put it, ‘This experience really made me believe.’ And believe in humanity and its goodness and whimsy.”
