Rivals star Emily Atack has married her longtime partner Alistair Garner in a “perfect” ceremony weeks before they are due to hold a more lavish celebration in Spain.

The Rivals star tied the knot with her fiance in the UK On Saturday (22.08.26) with the actress revealing they ” get to do all that again” in a “few weeks” as they will be hosting a lavish celebration in Spain.
Sharing pictures from her big day on Instagram, Emily wrote: “Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends. It was absolutely perfect. I can’t believe we get to do all that again in a few weeks time.
“Christ, we have fun don’t we @dralistairgarner.”
Emily wore a long white wedding gown by Avenue by Josephine Scott in collaboration with Evelie Bridal and Avenue CEO Josephine Parkhill revealed the Juliette style was altered to make it more personal for the actress.
She said in a statement: “Working with Emily and Caroline was incredibly special. Juliette already has such a distinctive silhouette, and together we were able to make thoughtful changes that gave the gown a very personal feel for Emily.”
The couple married at a church in the UK countryside and the reception featured a McDonald’s van serving ice cream McFlurries to guests.
Emily and Alistair welcomed their son Barney in June 2024 and they got engaged in July 2025.
Emily previously revealed she was planning to marry in Spain in September as it’s a destination she has always loved.
She told The Telegraph newspaper: “I loved my family holidays in Mojacar, in Andalucia, when I was growing up. “We had a property there and my dad sold it a couple of years ago, but it’s our favourite place on Earth and we still go there every single year and stay in a hotel.”
Emily also explained she’s enjoyed planning her big day, telling Luxury London Magazine: “I think I’ve nailed it. We’re getting married in September. I’ve very much enjoyed the planning process. Choosing napkins and stuff. I’m like: ‘My God, my life is here!’
She also said to HELLO! magazine: “It’s [the wedding is] going to be lovely. I’ve really enjoyed planning it. It’s going to be three days of joy with all my favourite people – it’s going to be chaos.”
