Sir Cliff Richard has announced 48th studio album Only Number Ones, featuring 12 of his favourite chart-topping tracks, and a deluxe edition that brings together all 14 of the music legend’s number one singles.

The 85-year-old music legend’s album, which is released on November 27, sees him put his unique stamp on classic and contemporary number ones spanning eight decades, including Spirit In the Sky, Oh Pretty Woman, Return To Sender, Sign of the Times, and a new version of White Christmas.
Cliff said: “I suggested to Warner Music that I record an album of songs that made it to No.1. Thank heavens they agreed!!
“I listened to dozens of songs and chose 12 of my favourites. This record is my tribute to fabulous artists who had recorded wonderful tracks that achieved the number one position.”
Only Number Ones, which was produced by Sam Hollander and Josh Edmondson and recorded in February this year, will also be released as a deluxe edition.
It will feature all 14 of Cliff’s original number one tracks, including Living Doll, through Bachelor Boy, The Young Ones, Summer Holiday, Congratulations, We Don’t Talk Anymore, as well as his three Christmas number ones, Mistletoe and Wine, Saviours Day and The Millennium Prayer.
As well as the albums, Cliff, the third best-selling artist in UK singles chart history behind The Beatles and Elvis Presley, is giving fans the chance to celebrate his 86th birthday with him at afternoon tea on October 15 – the day after his actual birthday – at the InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane, London.
Those who pre-order any format of Cliff’s album Only Number Ones from the official store between 9am on Tuesday (08.09.26) and 2pm BST on September 17 will get the chance to purchase tickets for the afternoon tea event.
