Wrestling star Pac was found unresponsive in a car outside a restaurant in Illinois on Sunday (27.09.26) and emergency services rushed to the scene in an attempt to save him before he was pronounced dead.

The British wrestler – real name Benjamin Satterley – died on Sunday (27.09.26) at the age of 40 just a day after his final match and now it has been revealed he was discovered passed out in a vehicle in a parking lot outside a branch of Mediterranean restaurant CAVA, less than a mile from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
The New York Post reports dispatch audio from medics called to the scene stated: “This is going to be a slumper. We can’t confirm breathing at this time …
“This is going to be a slumper in a car. We cannot confirm breathing yet. At this point, we’re still on the phone getting further.”
The audio exchange suggests the sports star was pronounced dead at the scene.
The publication reports customers at the CAVA restaurant raised the alarm and called emergency services. They are also have said to have searched for medical equipment inside the eaterie in a bid to help the stricken star.
His cause of death is yet to be revealed.
Pac – who rose to fame as Adrian Neville in WWE from 2012 to 2018 before joining All Elite Wrestling – died just a day after taking part in his final match against Andrade El Idolo at AEW All Out in Chicago.
AEW announced his death in a statement, which read: “All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac.
“A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.
“Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. “Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”
WWE’s Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque later paid tribute to the “extraordinary” wrestler. Alongside a photo of them together at NXT Arrival in February 2014, he wrote: “Saddened to hear about the death of Ben Satterley known in @WWE as Neville.
“I had the pleasure of working with Ben in the early days of @WWENXT. This moment, from NXT Arrival, marked the beginning of a new era for that brand and the men and women on it … and Ben was a major force behind that.
“He was an extraordinary talent and even kinder human being. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans across the world.”
