The 48-year-old stylist has worked with a host of big-name stars during the course of his career, including Zendaya, Celine Dion and Kim Kardashian – but Law admits that he struggled to get it “right” with Keke.

During an appearance on Aspire with Emma Grede, Law shared: “I couldn’t get it right.

“To me, that wasn’t personal. I love Keke to death. It was a business decision that she should’ve made.”

Law and Keke, 33, ultimately had differing views about her style.

He explained: “I couldn’t get the looks right.

“I couldn’t get the energy right. It was like, she made a business decision to fire me, and I love what she said. She called me and said, ‘You might be the best stylist in the world, but you are not the best stylist for me.'”

Despite this, the stylist insists he doesn’t have any bitterness towards Keke.

Reflecting on the time they worked together, Law said: “She knows exactly who she needs and what she wanted and I couldn’t deliver — and I’m not mad at that.”

Meanwhile, Law recently hailed Kim Kardashian as a “beautiful person”.

The stylist explained why he relishes collaborating with the reality TV star.

He told People: “She is such a beautiful person and nice and easy [to work with].

“She knows what she wants, but she also lets you create.”

Law explained that he sees Kim – who has enjoyed huge success with her SKIMS brand – in a different way to other stylists.

Asked what makes his looks so unique on Kim, Law replied: “What’s different about from stylist to stylist, it’s just our perception of who the woman is, right? And so what I’m doing with Kim, it’s just the way I see Kim Kardashian.

“I may see her different than one of her other stylists, and that’s the beauty about fashion and being creative, is it’s just perception.”

Law – who has starred as a judge on the HBO Max show Legendary – added that working with Kim has been a “really, really, really fun” experience.
