The 36-year-old star has insisted being “malleable” is “part of the job”, including her dramatic hairstyle change for Die My Love, but there comes a time when she is ready to put her foot down to protect herself and others in the film industry.
She told the Call Her Daddy podcast: “There was an instance on set where crew members who were not approved when I was doing nudity were on set.
“I came down hard on it, purely because if we are not setting that principle, then what on earth is going to happen to an 18-year-old unknown when she shows up and there’s people on set who are not approved [to be there]?
“She’s going to be in a position of: ‘Do I say something and get a reputation for being difficult, or do I let these people that I’m not comfortable seeing me naked see me naked?’
“It was important to me to explain that to the people why that was not okay.”
Jennifer previously explained that she wanted to give director Lynne Ramsay, 56, “total freedom artistically” for Die My Love.
She told Vulture: “I don’t care about nudity. I’m not sensitive about it. I wanted Lynne to have total freedom artistically.”
Jennifer noted that “being pregnant” with her second child during filming took a lot of her “vanity anxiety away”.
She added: “What was I gonna do? Like, not eat? I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired.
“I remember them sending over a close-up of, like, cellulite being like, ‘Do you want us to touch this up?’ And I was like, “No. That’s an ass.'”
Meanwhile, Jennifer has revealed she has undergone a breast lift as she discussed her cosmetic procedures and beauty ambitions in a new cover interview with The Cut.
The Hunger Games star did not specify the procedure she had to The Cut, but the outlet noted the actress had undergone a “boob job” in their feature on the actress.
Jennifer admitted about her beauty goals: “I want to be a sexy mom.”
She added: “At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s*** together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my s*** together.”
The mother-of-two has previously discussed her experiences with cosmetic treatments and the physical changes she noticed after becoming a mother.
Her latest comments follow an interview with The New Yorker last October, when she revealed that she was considering breast surgery after the arrival of her second child.
Jennifer said: “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back.”
She has now confirmed she underwent a breast lift and is considering having a facelift in the future.
Jennifer has also spoken about using small amounts of Botox, a treatment she described as “baby Botox” in an interview with Vogue.
