Sky Daily denies grooming allegations and insists she is not a Scientologist

Sky Daily has defended herself and distanced herself from the Church of Scientology after being accused of grooming her son’s girlfriend.

Sky Daily has defended herself after being accused of grooming her son’s girlfriend.

The former yoga instructor – who has three children – was recently named in a lawsuit which alleged she groomed the unnamed female with alcohol to join the Church of Scientology and helped cover up her son’s own abuse, but she has insisted the allegations are linked to the “harm and harassment” she has been subjected to from her “stalker”.

The 48-year-old beauty, who was married to Hulk Hogan at the time of his death last year, said in a social media video: “I am not a Scientologist. I have been a Christian for almost 20 years.

“I was born into Scientology and, then I grew up, and I leaned into my grandparents’ Episcopalian faith, and that’s how I raised my kids since they were born.

“This lie started from a stalker who has stalked me for years before I even met Terry [Bollea]. He’s just incessantly called me and texted me through social media apps because I never gave him my phone number ‘cause I didn’t know him like that.

“Anyone who keeps perpetuating this is just helping my stalker harm me and harass me.”

Sky continued to distance herself from Scientology.

She continued: “I don’t even give my own money to the Church because I’m not a Scientologist. My son wanted to go to electrician school and drop out of high school, so I signed him up for an online class. … It just teaches normal stuff like biology and maths and all that kind of stuff. It uses a study technology, and it doesn’t have anything to do with any spiritual [teachings or] anything about Scientology.”

Sky alleged she had been subjected to the same false allegations “for years” and she’s upset that linking her to Scientology taints her late husband’s “Christian message”.

She added: “I’ve just been dragged, for years, over this lie. I know I’m venting about it, but it’s just taken wings and gone to conspiracy land.

“It’s affected a lot of people’s lives, and it’s diluted Terry’s Christian message that was so important for him. I don’t know what else to say.

“I’m just going to continue being kind to people and not let this harden me, and I’m just going to say, God bless and good night.”

The lawsuit against the influencer was filed anonymously, but the petitioner claimed she had reported the incident to police in Clearwater, Florida, earlier this year, though the case was allegedly “quietly and quickly” closed due to Sky’s apparent standing within the Church of Scientology.

The police said in a statement: “In March of this year, the Clearwater Police Department began an investigation after allegations were made following a party that occurred in the 100 block of Devon Drive on Clearwater Beach.

“The allegations were related to sexual battery and supplying alcohol to minors. Detectives conducted their investigation and referred the case to the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office for any potential prosecution. The case is not closed; media reports indicating that are inaccurate.”
