Sydney Sweeney ‘plotting secret move to Cotswolds with boyfriend Scooter Braun’

Sydney Sweeney is considering moving to the Cotswolds with her boyfriend, Scooter Braun, after recently viewing a property in Little Tew, according to reports.

Sydney Sweeney is reportedly plotting a secret move to the Cotswolds with her boyfriend Scooter Braun.

The Euphoria star recently viewed a property in Little Tew, West Oxfordshire, England, and if she and the 45-year-old multi-millionaire businessman decide to split their time between the US and the village, they would have some famous neighbours.

These include football legend Sir David, 51, and fashion designer Lady Victoria Beckham, 52, and former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, 68, and her 53-year-old wife, actress Portia de Rossi.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Sydney has visited the Cotswolds twice in the past 10 months, and absolutely loves it. She viewed property there within the past three months.

“She doesn’t get bothered by locals, who are all well-used to seeing A-listers, and finds village life incredibly cute and quaint.

“It’s also a huge change of pace from LA and all the vultures circling. And she can lead a more peaceful life in the countryside.”

Little Tew is ideal as it is close to Pinewood Studios, the home of the new James Bond film, which Sydney, 29, could star in.

The source continued: “Pinewood Studios are also only about an hour away, meaning she could easily stay at home while filming should she land the gig.”

Trina Parks, 78, who became the first Black Bond girl when she starred opposite the late Sir Sean Connery as assassin Thumper in 1971’s Diamonds Are Forever, thinks Sydney is perfect to take on her former role for the next 007 movie.

She told The Telegraph newspaper: “Sydney would do a wonderful job. She has done quite a range of acting things and basically has got ownership of her sexual identity.

“Not only is she a talented actress, but has this Hollywood classic kind of style and poise, which really works for her projects and brand.

“I feel for modern cinema and film-making and the future of Bond, audiences want to see a woman opposite Bond who is independent and has ownership of her sexuality. Sydney has those qualities.”

The comments come as 007 fans eagerly await the announcement of the next actor to play James Bond after Daniel Craig, 58, stepped down as the iconic British spy following the release of No Time To Die in 2021.

Bosses at Amazon MGM Studios have taken over the franchise and are said to have narrowed the shortlist of contenders to Slow Horses star Jack Lowden, 36, Jacob Elordi, 29, and one unnamed actor.

The shortlist was reported by Jeff Sneider at The InSneider, as well as World of Reel’s Jordan Ruimy, who wrote: “A few weeks ago, I was told that the race to become the next James Bond had narrowed to three names: Jacob Elordi, Jack Lowden and an undisclosed third actor.

“I couldn’t publish it then. Now that Jeff Sneider at The InSneider is also reporting Lowden and Elordi as finalists, the cat’s out of the bag, so here we are.

“What I’m hearing is that an announcement could come anytime between the last week of October and early November. That’s soon.”

Jordan suggests Jacob is Amazon’s favourite while Jack is the more traditional choice for the role.

However, the new film’s director, Denis Villeneuve, 59, may be backing the unnamed third actor as his “wild card”.

The insider added: “Elordi is fresh-ish, but he’s not British and he’s not unknown. Lowden is British but will be pushing 37 when cameras roll.

“And then there’s that third name, the mystery actor, who I’m told has barely been speculated about and who could be Villeneuve’s wild card if he decides to go against the grain.”
