Adam Sandler gave Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce some advice on marriage as he officiated their wedding in New York City last week – with one of the guests revealing the actor told the newly-weds to “keep kissing”.

The actor stepped in to help the pop superstar tie the knot with the NFL player in a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday (03.07.26) and now one of the guests has revealed Adam was keen to help the newly-weds out by giving them some key advice on how to keep the romance in their relationship now they are married.
Andy Reid – the head coach at Travis’ NFL team the Kansas City Chiefs – was a guest at the wedding and he revealed Adam’s message to the couple, telling CNN: “Adam Sandler [was] doing a phenomenal job with the vows .. Just how he went about bringing a little humour but also some sensitivity to what was going on to lots of different types of people from a lot of different types of worlds, bringing them all together. “
When asked about advice to the newly-weds, Andy said: “I thought Adam said it well. He said: ‘Kiss every chance you have, every day. Whether you’re going to bed or going to work or whenever … go ahead and kiss her.
“I thought, in a simple way, in its simplest form it really was touching that way.
In a new conference, Andy repeated Adam’s advice to the couple, saying: “Adam Sandler conducted the service there and he told them to keep kissing’. in its simplest form. That’s a good thing.
“It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss… And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to. Knock it out, and you won’t have any problems.”
He added the actor was “hysterical” and “did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humor”.
Travis previously worked with Adam when the sports star made a guest appearance in his 2025 movie Happy Gilmore 2 – and the comedian has previously revealed his daughters, Sunny and Sadie, and his wife Jackie are huge fans of the singer.
During an appearance on an episode of Travis’ New Heights podcast, Adam explained: “[Taylor Swift] means so much to our house.
“She just floors my family. Floors them! Somebody asked me, who do you get nervous around? I said: ‘I do get nervous around Taylor Swift’, because I don’t want to … blow it for my kids and say something stupid!”
Adam added: “You guys being together, I mean … when you guys first started dating, my god was my family like: ‘Yes! Look how good they are together, he’s a gentleman! And she’s having so much fun with him!’
“Like any time Taylor is laughing with you, my whole f****** family is like high-fiving.”
