Former glamour model Katie Price has revealed her family “want nothing to do with” her fourth husband Lee Andrews and they won’t even agree to meet him.

The 48-year-old former glamour model wed her fourth husband in January, just days after they met for the first time, and they’ve had a turbulent six months of marriage after Lee went missing and was discovered to be in prison in Dubai.
Now Katie has revealed her family do not approve of the union and they are refusing to meet him. During an appearance on ITV show This Morning, Katie said: “You just have to see their [her family’s] reaction. They’re like: ‘Why? Why has she gone off and married him? What an idiot she is. What is she thinking?’
“It is making headlines and I’ve said to Lee: ‘You are not helping yourself’. I told him when he come out of prison: ‘Don’t go on socials’ … Just leave it, give yourself a break but he don’t listen …
“I’ve just got back from Dubai. I know a lot that other people don’t [but I know] it [the marriage] looks so messy out there.
“People don’t believe you were kidnapped … they think it’s all a joke. It’s not really fair on me … because it doesn’t look good on me.
“When he does come to England … he’s says he’ll do a lie detector test all this but it’s become such a gimmicky joke. No one even believes it’s a marriage. It’s just not fair. “
She added: “My family don’t want nothing to do with him. And you can’t blame them because of what’s out there …
“I want them to [meet him] but at the moment they’re like no. Because they are protecting me … And I love that, my family friends, they’re all protecting me …
“Men have been the downfall of my life they’re protecting because they don’t want another one to use, me break me all of that … Yes I married him quick but I am so protective that I won’t let a man hurt me, break me destroy me again.”
Katie concluded the interview by revealing her mum Amy Price is currently in hospital and she hasn’t seen her since she got back from her recent trip to Dubai to see Lee – but the TV star promised to go visit her later this week.
Speaking into the camera, Katie said: “Mum you’re in hospital, I know you’re watching … I love you and I know you’ve been in there for ages I am going to come and see you this week.”
