Pop star Ariana Grande has revealed she uses her hair and make-up as an “enormous piece of storytelling” during her Eternal Sunshine Tour.

The pop star kicked off the trek in Oakland, California on June 6 and she’s now opened up about some of the looks fans will see when she’s onstage – crediting her longtime hair and make-up team, Michael Anthony and Alyx Liu, with helping her complete the shows.
She told Vogue: “This show, and everything that I do, would be incomplete without them.
“Make-up and hair are such an enormous piece of storytelling, for both music and acting. [I wanted them to be a part of the show] because my art is nothing without theirs … Our collaboration, friendship, respect, love, as well as the time we share together, mean so much to me.”
Anthony explained Ariana’s onstage looks are designed to appear “radiant and angelic”, telling the publication: “I’ve been working very closely with Ari for a few years, and going on tour with her is something I’d always dreamt of doing.
“The make-up look [for the concert] is truly a reflection of the energy between us, so it is no surprise to me that she looks absolutely radiant and angelic every show.”
During the interview, it was revealed one go-to product for Ariana’s stage look is r.e.m. Beauty’s Essential Drip Glossy Balm in the shade Cosmo which she uses on her lips throughout the gigs.
As well as embracing hair and make-up for her concerts, Ariana also boasts her own fragrance line which includes the Lovenotes collection, which she has described as “little love letter” to her fans.
At the time of launching her latest addition to the range, Plush Vanilla, she said: “The launch of the Lovenotes fragrance collection was incredibly special to me and I was so excited to continue this story and deliver my next little love letter to my fans.
“I love this new chapter of the collection, the fragrance itself is so incredibly addictive and delicious, and I am so excited to have developed this as an exclusive for Sephora.
“It was such an honor to launch in Sephora and this next step is truly just so exciting and such an honor. This fragrance is so divine, and my favorite from the Lovenotes collection I can’t wait for everyone to experience Plush Vanilla!”
Ariana’s Lovenotes collection also includes Vanilla Suede, Angels Kiss, Pink Woods and Pressed Petals.
