The 29-year-old actress has become well-known for her striking red-carpet looks and Tom Holland, her husband, has now shared the secrets behind Zendaya’s preparation.
Asked if Zendaya ever tells him what she plans to wear on a red carpet, Tom told Entertainment Tonight: “Oh, yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
“The fittings for these things happen … months in advance, so we’ve seen it all. It might be new to you but we know what’s coming.”
Asked if there’s a “whole rack in the house” dedicated to the red-carpet events, Tom replied: “Oh, yeah. Oh, for sure – yeah, yeah.”
Tom – who married his Spider-Man co-star earlier this year – acknowledged that his preparation for red-carpet events is “considerably smaller”.
Meanwhile, Zendaya previously described her approach to fashion as “fearless”.
The Hollywood star works with celebrity stylist Law Roach, and she explained that he’s encouraged her to be more ambitious and experimental with her fashion sense.
Zendaya – who stars alongside Tom, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Samantha Morton and Charlize Theron in The Odyssey, the Sir Christopher Nolan-directed fantasy film – told StyleCaster: “Style-wise, I am fearless.
“I used to be very afraid until Law got into my life. He pushes me to try new things, I push him to try new things, and we inspire each other as we go along.
“Everything kind of happens very organically and yeah, I would say [I am] fearless.”
Zendaya also cited her dad and pop star Madonna as two of her style icons.
The actress – who is one of the most sought-after stars in the movie business – said: “I look up to people who like to do their own thing, people who march to the beat of their own drum, who dress for themselves and just don’t care. I am inspired by those kind of people.
“My dad is my style icon. Madonna is my style icon.”
