Carla Jeffery’s grieving relatives have launched a fundraiser to pay for her funeral and burial costs.
The 33-year-old actress, who played Bree in the Disney Channel’s first three ZOMBIES musical movies – passed away on Tuesday (01.09.26) and her cause of death hasn’t been shared. Now a crowdsourcing campaign has been set up on Gofundme.com to help her family cover their expenses.
A statement posted on the site – by a relative named as Carl Jeffery – explained: “I am creating this fundraiser for my close family member, Carla Jeffery, as we face the heartbreaking loss of a loved one.
“This is an incredibly painful and difficult time for our family, and we are doing our best to come together, grieve, and make sure Carla has the support needed to handle the funeral and burial arrangements. Losing someone is never easy, and the emotional weight of this moment has also brought unexpected financial stress for our family.”
The statement added: “The funds raised will go directly toward funeral expenses and burial costs, helping ease some of the burden during this time of mourning.
“My hope is to give Carla one less thing to worry about so our family can focus on honoring our loved one and supporting each other. If you are able to give, please know that any amount would mean so much to us.
“If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Carla and our family in your thoughts is also deeply appreciated. Any support is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.”
The actress has a twin brother named Carlon Jeffery who is also an actor. The fundraiser had brought in almost $5,000 by Friday (04.09.26).
The news of her death was confirmed in a statement shared on her Instagram account by Carla Alexander at the Alexanders Talent Management Family.
It read: “It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at just 33 years old.” They noted that Jeffery joined their “family” when she was 12 years old, and they saw her grow into someone “whose radiant smile could light up any room”. They continued: “As Bree in Disney’s hit ZOMBIES franchise, Carla shared her joy, humor, and bright spirit with audiences around the world.
“Carla was more than a client; she was family.
“Our hearts are with Carla’s family and loved ones during this devastating time. We respectfully ask that their privacy be honored as they grieve this unimaginable loss.
“Rest beautifully, Carla. Your light will never be forgotten.”
Alongside the announcement, the team captioned the post saying their “hearts are broken”.
They wrote: “For more than 20 years, Carla was part of the Alexanders Talent Management family, and watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege.
“We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent, and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went. “Our deepest love and condolences are with Carla’s family and loved ones. We ask that their privacy be respected during this incredibly difficult time.
