David Harbour reveals truth about Millie Bobby Brown bond as they film Netflix show

David Harbour has opened up about what it’s really seeing seeing Millie Bobby Brown every day on the set of their new show.

David Harbour loves getting to see Millie Bobby Brown “on a daily basis” for their new Netflix show.

The Stranger Things duo are reuniting as a father and daughter duo in an upcoming series of the streaming giant, and the 51-year-old actor has opened up on their work together on the untitled project.

he told E! News: “It really is a working relationship, where we love what we bring out in each other.

“You’re in service of a greater story, and we both know how to do that and think about that and talk about that.

“I love what we have together and I love to be able to see her on a daily basis.”

Stranger Things ended in 2025 after five seasons, but David revealed he wanted to “use the building blocks of the dynamic between me and her” to “build something that was really unique and original”.

He added: “I go anywhere in the world and people know the relationship of Hopper and Eleven. There’s something about that I thought was so special.”

David and Millie were the subject of much speculation during the final season of Stranger Things, after reports she filed a harassment and bullying complaint against him ahead of production for season five.

He previously told Variety the report was a “weird thing” which “came out in a weird way”, and added: “Straight up, Millie and I are working on several …

“You’ll see more of me and Millie — 10 years wasn’t enough. “There is a special bond there. I love her. She loves me.”

David insisted it is normal to get involved in “arguments and disagreements” with colleagues who have had a close working relationship for so long.

He added that they found it easy to resolve their differences once there were no other people involved.

He explained: “It’s simple. It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing that, once we cleared everybody out of the way and talked to each other, we’re fine.”

The duo will be back together for the spy drama series from A24, which is being penned by Adolescence writer Jack Thorne.
