EA Sports FC 27’s soundtrack has been revealed, featuring more than 120 artists from around the world including Royal Blood, The Strokes, Blossoms, Yard Act and Cage The Elephant.
EA Sports FC 27 will launch with one of the biggest soundtracks in the history of the franchise, bringing together more than 120 artists from 36 countries for its latest celebration of football and music.
Electronic Arts has confirmed the full soundtrack ahead of the game’s September 25 release, with players who purchased special editions able to start playing from September 18.
The latest playlist continues a long-running tradition that has made EA Sports FC and its FIFA predecessor famous for discovering new artists alongside established names.
Steve Schnur, president of music and marketing for EA games, said: “The EA Sports FC soundtrack has become an international institution.
“The world’s game is annually enhanced by the world’s soundtrack, and FC 27 delivers one of our most globally representative playlists yet.”
The soundtrack features major acts including Royal Blood, The Strokes, Blossoms, Yard Act, Interpol and The War on Drugs, alongside rising artists from across the globe.
Some tracks will also make their debut through the game.
Cage The Elephant’s Dying In Reverse and Mura Masa’s My Generation are among the previously unreleased songs included in the collection.
Cage The Elephant said: “EA always puts together a killer soundtrack for FC, so we were thrilled to have our brand-new song Dying In Reverse make its debut this year.”
