Simone Biles got a dog for protection after her car was stolen.

Simone Biles’ car was stolen by three masked thieves.

The 29-year-old gymnast and her husband Jonathan Owens decided to get a dog to help them feel safer and more protected after the unknown individuals broke into their home and got away in her own vehicle.

Speaking in a TikTok video, she said: “I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche. But that’s another story. If you guys wanna know, I’ll do a story time on that.”

Simone – who has experienced mystery health issues in recent months – thinks she “needs” her own reality show because so many out-of-the-ordinary things happen to her.

She said: “I feel like I need a reality TV show. The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity. And so it would be really easy for producers to just film regularly. That is one of the reasons why we also got our doberman.”

The couple’s car was eventually returned.

She wrote in the caption: “Yes we recovered the car, onto the next.”

The Olympian also detailed going to look for a new car after her Porsche was stolen, initially liking the idea of an Audi.

She said: “I’ve always wanted this one car but I didn’t necessarily want to pay the price. So, I went over to Audi, and he was like, ‘If you get a RSQ8, same engine, half the price.’ And I was like, ‘Alright bet.’

“We went to go look at the car, and I test drove it, and I was like, ‘Oo, this car is really muscle-y.’

“I didn’t like the way it drove, and I’m not about to manhandle a car.

“We went over to Porsche. They had Cayenne GTS, and baby, when they turned that thing on, I was sold.

“I felt like Tiffany Haddish from Girls Trip: ‘Give it to me! I want it! Give it to me!’”

Simone’s revelation came almost two months after she underwent an unknown surgical “procedure” on her husband’s birthday.

Sharing a photo of herself in a hospital gown with the Indianapolis Colts player, she wrote: “His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure.

“I woke up singing bossman slow ’talk my s***.’ “

Simone has yet to reveal any details about the procedure she underwent or whether it was related to her mystery incident in June.

Fans were worried after the seven-time Olympic gold medallist took to her Instagram Stories on June 6 and posted a shot of her arm covered in multiple hospital bracelets, describing the ordeal as one of the “scariest experiences” of her life.

Simone wrote alongside the worrying picture: “I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age, but almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card this week.

“This was one of, if not the, scariest experience of my life.

“Jonathan was in Indy for practices. I’ve been in bed resting this week.

“I’ll explain sooner or later but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited + or sent flowers. Loooovveeee y’all (sic).”

The sports star later posted a picture of various floral gifts she had received, a photo of her bed with her two dogs, and a screenshot that featured a monitor’s reading of her resting heart rate.

Simone’s caption read: “I’ll be here.”
