Everybody Loves Raymond’s Ray Romano is a grandfather

Ray Romano’s daughter, Alexandra “Ally” Romano, announced on Instagram on Wednesday (25.03.26) that she gave birth to a boy on February 25.

Ray Romano has become a grandfather.

The Everybody Loves Raymond alum’s 35-year-old daughter, actress Alexandra “Ally” Romano, revealed on Instagram on Wednesday (25.03.26) that she and her husband Zachary Wilezol welcomed a baby boy named Rex into the world on February 25.

Alexandra captioned a sweet photo of the newborn as he lay beside a print of his footprints, with the caption: “One month with my guy, Rex Roman Wilezol. He (begrudgingly) arrived on 2/25/26 with very long legs, massive hands, a full head of hair and the most perfect lips.

“Although it wasn’t the start to parenthood we imagined, our strong, very big boy has shown us a new meaning to love. He’s given us a run for our money, but he’s my new bestie and a trooper!”

Followers rushed to the post’s comments section to congratulate her and Zachary – who got married at the New York Public Library in September 2024 after three years of dating.

One person penned: “He’s beautiful and has the most amazing and loving family!! There will be so many adventures and beautiful memories to be made. Sending so much love to your family! Congrats!!!! (sic)”

A second user typed: “Perfect cutie Rex we love you and your perfect little lips that you got from your moms!! (sic)”

And a third supporter wrote: “Awesome. Congratulations to you and Zack on your new bundle of joy.”

As well as Alexandra, Ray, 68, has twins Matthew, and Gregory, 32, and Joseph, 27, with his 63-year-old wife, actress Anna Romano.

In December 2024, Ray said he was “putting pressure” on his children to make him a grandparent.

Appearing on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Ice Age actor quipped: “My son got married five months ago, and my daughter got married last month. It’s cool, and now it’s like a race for a grandchild.

“I want a grandchild, and I’m putting the pressure on. How old do you want to play? I can’t bend down now! I’m actually putting a bounty out, I’m putting a prize out. $100,000. I told them $100k for a boy, $50k for a girl. I’m kidding, I’m kidding!”
