Kelly Ripa undergoes microneedling on her butt

Kelly Ripa underwent a microneedling treatment on her butt in a “desperate” attempt to fight ageing.

Kelly Ripa had a microneedling treatment on her butt – but it didn’t make a difference.

The 55-year-old presenter underwent the procedure – which involves using putting fine needles into the skin to trigger collagen and elastin production – in a “desperate” bid to halt the signs of ageing on her derriere, but she didn’t get the results she was hoping for.

Discussing skincare with guest Lukas Gage on her Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, Kelly said: “Oh wait, you got microneedling?

“I did that on my a** cheeks.

“I’m going to tell you something … just as old as before.

“Desperate times call for desperate measures.”

The Live with Kelly and Marc host previously reveealed she undergoes Botox injections in her face and neck to smooth out her fine lines.

She said on her podcast last year: “I used to get Botox just in my armpits to stop from sweating.

“One day I said, ‘Do you think I should put Botox in my face?’ And [Dr. Rosenberg] looked at me and he goes, ‘I thought this day would never come.’ And I was like ‘Oh my God, I needed Botox’ … there’s a sweet spot.

“I’m a minimalist … I do the crow’s feet and I do the neck and that’s it. I do it now three times a year.”

And Kelly – who has Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 23, with husband Marc Consuelos – has also admitted to exploring the idea of having a boob job, particularly after nursing her children left her nipples “hanging lower”.

However, while she has got as far as having consultations about the procedure, she’s been put off by horror stories.

She said on the Not Skinny but Not Far podcast: “We know that I’m flat-chested. It’s not a mystery at this point. It’s almost a point of pride.

“Like, every time I hear about the new boob guy, I go, and I have a consult.

“And I’m like, ‘What? What will you do?’ And they always, like, say all the right things and do all the right things. And, you know, because our cell phones listen to us … It pops up. And I scroll through, like, so many horror stories of boob jobs.”
