Conor McGregor was one of the guests on the US show earlier this month (16.06.26) but the interview caused controversy, and sparked numerous memes – one of which blasted Fallon for inviting McGregor to the show, which actress Christina reposted.
Christina Ricci has furiously taken aim at talk show host Jimmy Fallon for having Conor McGregor on his programme following the fighter’s 2014 sexual assault trial.
The 37-year-old mixed martial artist was one of the guests on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month (16.06.26).
But the interview caused controversy, and sparked numerous memes – one of which blasted Fallon for inviting McGregor to the show, which actress Christina reposted.
She shared an image on her Instagram Stories which read: “Conor McGregor raped a woman so brutally that the EMT who saw her commented on the severity of her bruising.
“She also had to have the tampon she was using when he raped her surgically removed, as it had been shoved so far inside her.
“Why the absolute **** is this piece of human garbage being given a platform on Jimmy Fallon’s show?”
The picture, originally shared by entrepreneur Adam McRae, concluded: “Shame on you Jimmy.”
It was in reference to McGregor’s 2024 civil court case, where he was found liable for the 2018 rape of a woman and ordered to pay £206,000, as well as covering the woman’s costs.
Ricci has previously appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon twice herself, promoting
her TV shows Wednesday and Yellowjackets.
McGregor is frequently in and out of the news due to his controversial moves, including when he was banned from the UFC for 18 months after violating the organisation’s doping policy.
Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) has said McGregor had violated their policy by missing three attempted sample collections within a 12 month period in 2024, those being on June 13, September 19 and September 20.
The CSAD has confirmed it has reduced McGregor’s ban from 24 to 18 months due to his cooperation with their investigation and because he had been recovering from an injury at the time.
The UFC said in a statement: “Although McGregor failed to make himself available for testing on those dates, CSAD noted that he was recovering from an injury and was not preparing for an upcoming fight at the time of the three missed tests.
“McGregor fully cooperated with CSAD’s investigation, accepted responsibility, and provided detailed information that CSAD determined contributed to the missed tests.
“Despite these mitigating factors, CSAD emphasizes that accurate whereabouts filings and the ability to conduct unannounced testing are essential to the success of the UFC ADP [Anti-Doping Policy]. “Taking McGregor’s cooperation and circumstances into account, CSAD reduced the standard 24-month sanction for three whereabouts failures by six months.
The ban was in place between 20 September 2024, and 20 March 2026.
McGregor can next be seen taking on Max Holloway in a UFC fight on 12 July.
