Travis Kelce’s former stylist thinks the NFL star will wear a “minimum of three outfits” during his and Taylor Swift’s wedding celebrations.
Travis Kelce’s former stylist thinks the NFL star will wear a “minimum of three outfits” during his wedding celebrations.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is expected to marry Taylor Swift in New York City on Saturday (04.07.26) and Tom Marchitelli – who worked with the sportsman for five years from 2016 – has predicted his old client will be keen to show his sartorial “edginess” with multiple looks.
Tom told People magazine: “I think we’ll see his edginess come out with wardrobe changes. I expect him to be in a minimum of three outfits. I wouldn’t be surprised if he changes every hour.
“A ceremony look, a reception change — and then if there’s a concert part or an afterparty, another outfit for sure.”
Of Travis’ outfit when he and Taylor exchange vows, Tom said: “That’s the picture that’s going to last forever. Whoever is lucky enough to photograph their wedding moment… it will be the most viral social media picture in history.”
Tom made many of Travis’ suits when they worked together and while he wishes he was doing so for the wedding, he predicted that honour will go to Louis Vuitton.
He said: “I think he’s going to wear bespoke Louis Vuitton. That is 100% my prediction.
“I know that a wedding of this magnitude has all the major fashion houses in Paris and Italy battling out to see who can have their designer label on him.
“Obviously, I wish I was the one boasting that I’m the one doing it, but I’m not.
“I think he wants to give Taylor her fairytale moment for the ceremony and show up more on the classic side.”
Tom expects one of Travis’ wedding looks will pay homage to the moment when he joined Taylor on stage at London’s Wembley Stadium during the third of her Eras tour shows at the venue in June 2024.
He said: “I thought that looked pretty awesome on him and white tie is the highest form of dressing for a man. I think that’s an incredible look.
“Long coattails, a top hat and then white tie attire — a white vest, also known as a waistcoat, a white shirt and a white bow tie. There are many different variations you can do of that.
“He could do that coattails look with a pattern or a black on black print. Adding diamond lapel pins and other accessories. He could have a chain wallet or a vest chain. There are many ways he could do that differently, but I think that’s on the table for sure.”
