Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attend North’s first headlining gig – but don’t sit together

North West, 13, performed her very first headline show at The Vic Theatre, with videos quickly appearing on social media showing the teenager in action.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were both in attendance at daughter North West’s Chicago concert on Saturday night (05.09.26) – but watched from different balconies.

The 13-year-old performed her very first headline show at The Vic Theatre, with videos quickly appearing on social media showing the teenager in action.

There were also clips of Kim and Kanye proudly watching North do her thing, although the exes – who split in 2021 after six years of marriage – didn’t go as far as to stand together.

Instead, they were seen on balconies on either side of the venue.

Kim also shared footage from the gig on her Instagram Stories, clearly proud of her first-born as North donned a Japanese-inspired outfit and performed choreographed routines while belting out songs.

North’s gig comes after she axed the co-headline series she had planned alongside collaborator Molly Santana, which had been due to kick off on August 5.

Neither North nor Molly offered an explanation as to why the gigs were cancelled, with North instead writing on her Instagram Stories at the time: “I was really excited to go on tour w molly santana sadly it isn’t happening anymore but i have something special for u guys see ya soon (sic)”

North’s debut EP N0rth4vr dropped on May 1, and her new music video Aishite, which translates as “love me” in Japanese, was released on August 7.

In the first verse of the tune, North sings: “Ayy, ain’t nobody finna save me / Ayy, and it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy) / Why can’t I escape? ‘Cause they chase me (They chase me) / Just love me, everyone betrays me.”

She then continues: “I’m seein’ blood daily (Daily)/ What? And it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy)/ Yeah, can’t escape ’cause they chase me.’”

North opens up about betrayal in the next verse, as she sings: “She pretend, they ain’t usin’ me again (What?) / Can’t be no one’s friend, I can’t let nobody in” before adding, “Can’t depend on anyone, the sufferin’ won’t end.”
