Bebe Rexha admitted in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday (06.09.26) that she’s growing tired of the comments she gets when she wears something figure-hugging.
Bebe Rexha hates the fact that she “automatically looks s*****” when she wears tight clothes because of her curvy figure.
The 37-year-old singer never seems to shy away from showing off some skin on the red carpet, but admitted in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday (06.09.26) that she’s growing tired of the comments she gets when she does so.
She wrote: “I don’t know what to do with my boobies. They just got so massive and I hate the straight men in my comments who only come for that but, then again, a girl still wanna dress sexy.”
Bebe suggested “we need an app for girls and gays”, before adding: “I feel like when girls with curvy bodies wear something tight we automatically look s*****.”
When someone in the comments section asked if Bebe had gained weight because of having PCOS [polycystic ovary syndrome], she replied: “That, and too much bread.”
Another person commented: “I’m straight and I’m here because I like you as a person and I like your music. Don’t blame all straight people for the things clueless, disgusting men do.”
To which Bebe replied: “Thank you, and you’re right!!!!”
It’s not the first time Bebe has attracted rude comments from body shamers.
Speaking in 2023, after telling Jennifer Hudson on her chat show that she had “jumped 30 pounds” due to her PCOS, Bebe hit back at the criticism.
On X, she wrote: “Seeing that search bar is so upsetting. I’m not mad ‘cause it’s true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what.”
She added at the time: “I’ve always struggled with my weight. A b**** likes to eat.”
Bebe is gearing up to perform at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on September 9, where she will be “discussing her recently released album, Dirty Blonde, her creative process, and more, with a special performance”.
On the Grammy Museum website, a description of the event continues: “Bebe Rexha has established herself as a global force through her powerful and unapologetic pop identity, a catalogue of enduring hits, and a rare ability to transcend and effortlessly move between genres while maintaining the signature of her identity through her instantly recognisable voice.”
