Jackass legend Steve-O has found a unique item to pay tribute to his time on the iconic show.
Steve-O has decorated his new swimming pool with a Jackass “butt plug”.
The 52-year-old star has had an Olympic length pool built at his home in Tennessee, completed with a “retractable motorised cover, heated for during the winter”.
He explained to TMZ that he wanted to put “stuff in the concrete” as it was being built, and he had something X-rated in mind for the finished project.
In a video shared with the outlet, he explained: “Tomorrow they’re pouring the rest of the concrete. I can’t find my Jeff Tremaine butt plug to put in.
“Can somebody overnight me a Jeff Tremaine butt plug? I promise I’ll put it right in the corner at the very beginning.”
Thankfully for Steve-O, someone came through and sent him the unexpected item to complete his poolside area.
The custom items had been commissioned by Johnny Knoxville and feature Jackass director Tremaine’s head.
Other items Steve-O decided to have buried in the concrete include his own handprints and signature, a medallion marking 18 years of sobriety, and a one pound anvil.
Jackass – which was a hit series on MTV and later became a film franchise – saw Steve-O, Johnny and their fellow cast members, including Bam Margera, the late Ryan Dunn, Chris Pontius, Preston Lacy and Dave England, carry out daring stunts and pranks on each other or the public.
It ran for three seasons between 2000 and 2001, and had a number of spin-offs, including Viva La Bam, Homewrecker and Dr. Steve-O, plus several movies.
Steve-O previously admitted the group were “genuinely worth vilifying” for encouraging a generation of viewers to do their own pranks and wind up in hospital.
Speaking on the Hotboxin with Mike Tyson podcast back in 2022, he said: “We were genuinely worth vilifying because back then they didn’t have YouTube or video on the Internet and we were legitimately a bad influence.
“When Jackass came out, little kids were showing up in hospitals all over the country and maybe the world because they saw us doing this crazy s*** and they wanted to do it themselves.”
These days, pranks are a big business on the likes of YouTube and TikTok, so Steve-O insisted they can no longer take the blame.
He added: “At that time, you could really point to us as being a bad influence.
“But I think over the years because now that there’s so much YouTube, [MTV’s], so much, it’s not our f****** fault anymore.”
