Life Goes On actor Chad Lowe and casting director Kim Painter’s daughter Fiona Lowe has died, aged 13, leaving the couple “deeply heartbroken”.

The 58-year-old actor – who is the younger brother of fellow star Rob Lowe – and his casting director wife have been left devastated after their teen daughter Fiona Lowe passed away.
Remembering her as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance”, the family said in a statement to PEOPLE: “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona.
“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.
“Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.

Chad and Kim also have daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.
Last year, the Life Goes On actor – who won an Emmy Award for his supporting role in the drama series – took to social media to celebrate Fiona turning 13 years old.
He posted a picture of his beloved daughter on Instagram, and wrote in the caption: “Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!! (sic)”
Nine months earlier, Chad shared a snap of his daughters returning to the remains of their tragic family home, after they were forced to evacuate their abode during the 2025 Pacific Palisades Fire.
He wrote: “Almost a month after we evacuated our girls finally got to go back to see what’s left of their home.
“The way they’ve handled this whole devastating experience is nothing short of remarkable. I am in awe of their spirit and resilience.”
Chad – who was married to Hollywood actress Hilary Swank between 1997 and 2007 – also insisted it was his “greatest joy and privilege” being a father to the trio.
He added: “Helping them navigate these tough times is my sole purpose. Being their dad is my life’s greatest joy and privilege.”
