Former That’s So Raven star Raven-Symoné has revealed why she has started wearing diapers at home.
Raven-Symoné has revealed she wears a diaper round the house when she’s on her period.
The 40-year-old former That’s So Raven star, who rose to fame in the beloved Nickelodeon sitcom, claimed that as her period has “mellowed out” over the years, she has changed her approach to some disposable undergarments.
Speaking on her Tea Time podcast with wife Miranda Pearman-Maday, she quipped: “I’m just able to wear a diaper throughout the day with a little baby T-shirt and a binky in my mouth and run around the house.
“Shout out Rugrats. I’m thriving!”
She joked that she likes her pants to sag and show off the diaper, while Miranda joked her wife is doing “some inner-child work”.
Despite the light hearted chat, Raven noted she is happy to have a variety of choices when she’s menstruating.
She said: “I really appreciate the fact that we’re starting to like think outside the box of the period and containment.
“And a healthier space and I just want everyone to try it.”
Last year, Raven and Miranda revealed they sleep in separate bedrooms.
Appearing on the Jeff Lewis Has Issues podcast, Miranda said: “Honestly, there were many reasons.
“Raven is a crazy sleeper and she would keep me up at night. She kicks and tosses and breathes. I have a big routine.”
Raven interjected: “It’s the hair. It’s the humidifier. It’s the curtains. It’s the way she lays in the bed with red light systems on the whole entire body. I’m in the bed, I’m on TikTok, my legs are spread all the way open. Half-naked.”
Miranda joked her wife had “maybe washed her face that day,” but the former Disney Channel star quipped, “Probably not.”
Meanwhile, Raven previously discussed the notions of labels and communities, and insisted that leaving “toxic mentalities” behind to embrace the wider world is the only way to “learn” as a person.
She said on Tea Time: “When you leave that toxic mentality, you’re integrating yourself into the world, and that’s better for me.
“I love the fact that we are on a planet with so many types of thought processes and so many different types of cultures.
“We can learn from every single culture, from every single religion, and if you’re just stuck in one group all the time, you are never gonna grow.
“I have gotten in trouble a lot with things that I have said, but that is ultimately what my brain wants to do.
“I want to travel to every single country and say ‘Oh, you cook chicken better than me, I’m gonna eat your chicken too. Yay me! Y’all know who cooks that fried chicken, it’s not just black people. This s*** is delicious.”
