Heather Dubrow nearly had a cosmetic disaster on her wedding day.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star suffered a “droopy lid” after her husband, plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow, 68, gave her Botox a fortnight before they got hitched at The Beverly Hills Hotel in June 1999.
But she fixed the mishap before their big day thanks to iopidine drops.
On a recent episode of 36-year-old internet personality Jackie Schimmel’s The B**** Bible podcast, Heather, 57, said: “Maybe two weeks before we got married, Terry gave me Botox. And you know, sometimes it just happens, and I got a droopy lid.
“But there’s these drops called iopidine. It sounds like eye opening, but they’re iopidine, and they make your eyes open.
“So I was fine at the wedding. Poor guy. I felt so bad for him. I almost didn’t wanna tell him.”
In June 2024, Heather and Terry, who are parents to Max, Nick, Kat and Ace, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary by recreating moments from 1999.
The pair jetted out to their honeymoon destination, Venice, Italy, as well as enjoying a replica of their wedding cake.
Taking to Instagram, Heather shared a photo of her and Terry cutting the white, multi-tiered cake, decorated with multiple white butterflies and round pearls, during their nuptials, followed by the replica, created by the Aman Venice hotel.
Her caption read: “Another very special THEN vs. NOW… The first photo shows our original wedding cake which was just this beautiful and unique white cake with pearls and crystal butterflies on it – I swear it was the cake of my dreams (sic).”
She added: “But swipe to see the cake that @aman_venice so PERFECTLY recreated for Terry and I to celebrate our anniversary… We were so blown away by this special moment from our Italy trip. (sic)”
Fans rushed to the post’s comments section to react, as one penned: “I completely love this. Thank you for sharing, you both are beautiful, this picture is lovely. So happy for you two. (sic)”
A second supporter typed: “I SOOOOO love that the cake of your dreams is STILL the cake of your dreams. Says so much about the two of you, and what matters most to your hearts. Cannot love this enough! (sic)”
And a third follower wrote: “How cute! What a lovely couple.”
