The couple – who have been together since April 2025 – usually live in England and Nashville, Tennessee, respectively, but when the 61-year-old actress films the upcoming season of The ‘Burbs in Los Angeles, the Achy Breaky Heart singer will be joining her.
Elizabeth said on the Off Air with Jane and Fi podcast: “Yeah, we’re going to live together out there.”
Despite their long-distance relationship, the couple are accustomed to sharing living space because Elizabeth previously told how the 65-year-old singer “really loves” visiting the UK and enjoys spending time at her country home.
She said: “He never spent any time here, just briefly on tour and stuff.
“He spent most of the summer here last year, and on and off we were here this summer—we had to go to America quite a bit—and he loves it. Absolutely adores it.
“He grew up in Kentucky but lives in Tennessee, and their summers are pretty brutal compared to ours.
“They’re very hot and very humid and it rains a lot—so, for him to have our beautiful air and just the beauty of our countryside, I think is beautiful for him.”
Elizabeth recently joked she and her boyfriend are “like twins”.
Speaking on the SheerLuxe podcast, she quipped: “There are a lot more similarities than you’d think. We have the same hair. Identical hair. Apart from his beard, we’re actually like twins.”
Elizabeth joked Billy Ray looks like he could be the father of her 24-year-old son Damian – whose dad is the late Steve Bing – and that a recent photo of the three of them with her brother Michael showed them all looking like “cousins”.
She admitted they are an “unlikely pairing in some ways” but their lives are actually “quite similar.”
She explained: “We’ve both lived out of suitcases our entire life.
“And we both also a long time ago moved out of the cities. He’s got a farm in Tennessee, I’ve got one here in Herefordshire, and neither of us really go out much unless we have to ‘cause it’s work. So there are a lot more similarities than you’d think.”
However, she noted she is much more organised than Billy Ray, and she is often shocked by his diet.
She said: “He sort of bumbles around. He’s a bit more bumbly than me.
“He can’t cook and he doesn’t eat properly and there’s never any food in his house. When I arrive I’m like, ‘What have you been eating?’ ‘Oh, nothing.’ Sweets or popcorn or something. So there are differences. But because we both like sort of snuggling up, we’re actually quite similar.”
