The 31-year-old financial benefits analyst ended his relationship with TV personality Teddi, 45, following an honest conversation over dinner, during which PJ revealed that he could not see a future with her.
On the latest episode of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, she said: “I went out with the Valley Guy last night, and we had a really good time at dinner, and after dinner, he’s like, ‘Should we talk, you know, about the future?’
“He’s just like, ‘I have to tell you, let’s talk about the future. I know where my life is going.’
“He goes, ‘I was so shocked when you met my family and how well it went. Because I thought they were going to be a little bit more not accepting about the age difference and stuff.’
“And he goes, ‘But when I look at a future, I don’t see you in it.'”
The Next Level actress noted PJ felt “terrible” that he could not give her what she wanted in a relationship.
Teddi continued: “Whether he knew it or not, he was breathing life into me. But now I feel like, am I just not good enough?”
In August, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum hard-launched her romance with PJ on Instagram.
She shared a series of pictures of herself and the “#valleyguy” at her 75-year-old dad, singer John Mellencamp’s concert at the Hollywood Bowl, with the caption: “First he met a cougar. Then he met The Cougs. #valleyguy aka PJ @pjconleyy #iykyk @two.ts.inapod.
“Thanks to everyone who came out to support @johnmellencamp last night. It was incredible seeing everyone have the time of their lives.”
The following month, Teddi gushed about PJ to Extra, saying he is “really fun”, and revealed details of their first date.
She recalled: “Our very first date that we, like, after we met on Hinge… He was like, ‘Can you meet at 7.30 at Casa Vega?’ And I was like, ‘7.30.’
“So, I had my girlfriend Amy come with me, and we just had dinner there before he even met, and so when he arrived, I’m sitting there with another girl… I was like, there was no way I was gonna wait and come at 7.30.”
Teddi has daughters Slate, 12 and Dove, six, and son Cruz, 11, with her 49-year-old estranged husband, TV personality Edwin Arroyave.
