DJ Greg James has shared a number of details about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

The couple married in front of 1,000 guests at New York’s Madison Square Gardens on Friday (03.07.26) and guest Greg James – who attended with his wife, Bella Mackie – has now shared some details about the big day, including that the food was “plentiful and delicious.
He told listeners on his return to BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show on Wednesday (08.07.27): “It wasn’t a sit-down dinner. A lot of the Brits did congregate for a bit”
“There were multiple cakes. here was 1,000 people, there were loads of cakes.
“There was lots of everything. You know at a wedding you sometimes get the first drink free, well this was you get the first 10,00 drinks free.
“I had the best night, maybe ever.”
Greg threw himself into the party atmosphere.
He said: “There was an open invitation to get up onto the stage and dance while the DJ was on, and so I did.”
But the DJ admitted his whirlwind trip to New York for the festivities still feels like a dream.
He said: “I still can’t quite believe that it happened. It does feel like an amazingly strange but exciting dream. It was unbelievably fun. The main headline is: Oh my god it was really fun.
“I didn’t tell any of my friends, I could [only] tell Bella as she was invited as well.
“I couldn’t even tell my boss, I just took annual leave.”
And he was in awe at the star-studded guest list, which included the likes of Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Jessica Alba and Jennifer Lawrence.
He said: “Every ten seconds it was a room full of the most famous people in the world.
“I just couldn’t believe. It was like going to Madame Tussauds but the wax was animated and you could interact with the wax and it talked back to you, it was absolutely mad. I think I had a few wees next to NFL players…
“At one point it was me, Bella and Hugh Grant and his wife.”
Because fellow broadcaster Graham Norton had been publicly invited to the wedding by Taylor when she appeared on his show, Greg got in touch and they arranged a “secret dinner” so their partners could meet beforehand.
He quipped: “It was like the Traitors meeting in the tower.”
Greg managed to have a brief chat with the happy couple and told Taylor he’d found it hard keeping his invite secret.
He added: “They were having a great time, they looked amazing, they were on the dancefloor.”
But despite his openness, the 40-year-old star simply said “no comment” when asked if the bride had sang during the wedding, and declined to offer any details on her wedding outfits, other than to say she looked “amazing”.
