JADE praises ‘quite perfect’ Kylie Jenner moment with Angel of My Dreams

JADE was delighted Kylie Jenner walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway to her 2024 song Angel of My Dreams.

JADE thinks Kylie Jenner walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway to Angel of My Dreams was “quite perfect”.

The former Little Mix star, whose full name is Jade Thirlwall, loved that her 2024 single was chosen to soundtrack Kylie strutting her stuff in this year’s $50 million Fantasy Bra, and she feels like the lyrics would be relatable for the reality TV star.

She told PEOPLE magazine: “I think it’s quite perfect that it was Kylie Jenner walking to it. “I’m sure she is no stranger to constant scrutiny and the seeking of relevance and validation from the masses.”

JADE, 33, wrote the song about the highs and lows of the music industry after leaving Little Mix.

She explained: “It was me stepping outside of it and being like, ‘Look, everyone, I know what all of this is about. I’ve clocked the game; I understand it now’.

“I kind of got sucked into that whole thing of putting my acceptance of myself on the success of the music or what people thought of me. I didn’t think that would happen.

“I had to take a look at myself and be like, ‘Okay, you’re not quite as healed as you thought you were going into this as a solo artist.’”

She has described approving the request from Victoria’s Secret to use the song this year as a “fleeting moment” which she didn’t focus too much on.

Although she didn’t tune into the fashion show live because she “probably did something really boring, like an early night”, JADE was blown away by the reaction overnight.

Meanwhile, she was curious “which gay man is behind this happening”, which ended up being Victoria’s Secret chief creative officer Adam Selman.

He got in touch on social media to reveal he picked the song, and he’s a “genuine fan”.

JADE added: “It feels even better that the person that chose it actually loved the song from its release.

“It wasn’t just someone typing in ‘angel songs’ on Spotify and seeing what lands.”

Kylie was among the famous faces on the catwalk during the lingerie brand’s glitzy event at the Sony Pictures Studio in Culver City, California on October 18, and was given the special honour of wearing the brand’s Fantasy Bra.

The special garment is created for the annual show, and this year featured 4,410 natural diamonds as well as a massive 75.54-carat yellow diamond.

The bra took 15 people more than 1,000 hours to create and it cost a huge $50 million, making it Victoria’s Secret’s most expensive Fantasy Bra to date.
