Gordon Ramsay has celebrated his 60th birthday alongside daughter Tilly’s 25th, admitting he is stunned to have reached the milestone age as the Ramsay family enjoys a series of major life moments.
Gordon Ramsay “can’t believe” he’s 60.
The celebrity chef has marked his and his daughter Tilly’s joint birthday (08.11.26) with a heartfelt tribute to the 25-year-old influencer, while also admitting he’s stunned to have reached the milestone age.
Alongside a series of pictures of the pair over the years, he wrote on Instagram: “Happy birthday to this incredible young lady.
“Sharing such a special day with you is a Dad’s dream.”
He added: “There’s not enough words to explain how proud you make me feel.
“Have a fantastic 25th birthday and I can’t believe I’m bloody 60 wtf.”
The joint birthday celebration comes after another huge milestone for the Ramsay family, with Gordon’s eldest daughter Megan Ramsay recently getting engaged.
He has another family wedding to look forward to, just eight months after his daughter Holly Ramsay married Olympic swimmer Adam Ramsay-Peaty amid a bitter feud with his family.
Hell’s Kitchen star Gordon announced the news during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark in August, while discussing 26-year-old Holly’s wedding to Adam, 31, at Bath Abbey on December 27.
Gordon initially referred only to his “other daughter”, but his representative subsequently confirmed to the Daily Mail that Megan, 28, was the daughter who had become engaged.
Gordon said of Holly’s wedding: “Yeah, it was just one of those amazing moments. And the speech, it’s just your little girl, right?
“I bawled my eyes out. I was a hot, freaking mess, man. I’m telling you. Honestly, it was just so emotional but the day goes so quick, right?
“And then last week, our other daughter announced her wedding as well. So it’s rolling… .”
Megan keeps her private life largely out of the spotlight and does not have a public social media profile. Details of her fiancé have not been publicly confirmed.
Gordon previously discussed Megan’s romantic life during a 2022 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, when he revealed she had started seeing an ex-boyfriend named Byron again and described making what he called a “terrifying FaceTime call” to him.
Gordon and his wife Tana Ramsay, 52, have six children, also including Holly’s twin Jack Ramsay, 26, Oscar Ramsay, seven, and Jesse Ramsay, two.
The latest engagement comes during a period of major changes for the family.
Holly and Adam announced in June that they are expecting their first child together, following their star-studded wedding at Bath Abbey.
Their marriage has unfolded against the backdrop of Adam’s continuing estrangement from members of his family.
The tensions were back in the headlines during this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where Adam competed under the name Adam Ramsay-Peaty and won bronze in both the 100-metre and 50-metre breaststroke.
Following one of his races, the three-time Olympic champion spoke publicly about the pressure surrounding his private life and criticised coverage of the family dispute.
Adam said: “You don’t know who I am. And people who comment, people who see the story because you read a headline, they’ve got to look themselves in the mirror. You can’t hurt me.”
He added: “That hasn’t played a part in the sense of what I’ve experienced, because I’m still happy with that result in some sense, but it has to stop. How many athletes, how many people, have to go through this until the media learn their lesson? You have to learn and do better.”
